Descarbonização da matriz energética da Amazônia : análise de barreiras e oportunidades para biogás e biodiesel

Abstract

This paper analyzes the potential for biodiesel production from palm oil and biogas, considering their specificities in the Amazon region. It describes ongoing projects and presents the advantages and opportunities for new holders, as well barriers and obstacles that hinder its further development. The article also proposes measures and actions to promote the dissemination of new technologies, as well as suggestions to mitigate the risks of entering an infant market. Finally, it points out actions aimed at promoting biofuel production to boost the bioeconomy in the Amazon.
